The fun of decorating a retro kitchen can be more than just the decor. How about all the useful items that you need in the kitchen? For me, that certainly includes a retro wall clock.
I seem to constantly check the time while I'm in the kitchen. I'll bet you do, too. Time to get the kids off to school, time to leave for an appointment, time to get dinner started, etc. We seem to be in need of clocks in our kitchens. So a retro kitchen can certainly use a retro wall clock.
A wall clock may be useful, but it's also a great way to add to your decor theme. The retro look reminds us of diners in the 1950's so my favorite clock is "Mom's Diner." But there are plenty of other choices.
Cherries were a popular item to decorate with in the mid-century so a wall clock with cherries makes a fun addition. We like so many of the colors from the 1950's kitchens. All the pinks, blues, yellows, reds and even oranges were popular. Along with that, retro kitchens and diners alike were heavily accented with chrome. That means anything in the silver look works great for a retro design as well.
No matter what your favorite color and color choices for your kitchen, there is a retro wall clock just for you.
